There are 4 par 3’s on Sale but obviously on the day they were proving difficult to hit, the first two weren’t won and once again there was only one 2 with Captain Chris Murphy taking the honours on Captains day at his home club. At least he had the good grace to let someone else take the main prize unlike last years captain
Graham Murray announced he was moving to Nottingham so would not be attending too many Portland events, if this was his swansong (though I suspect not) he went out in style.
