Portland Autumn Cup, 2nd September 2024 @ NorthendenGC

The final singles event of the year took place on 27^th September.  

There were 25 entries for the final single event of 2024 and considering the weather we have once again had this year, only one cancellation can be considered reasonable success.  It was the final chance for people to get a handicap reduction or raise before the pairs event in October and the top five managed to get a reduction. Once again a close finish with 4^th and 5^th as well as 2^nd and 3^rd requiring card playoff intervention to separate them. The worthy winner was Jay Chambers who gets a 2 shot reduction just in time for his and Ian Hopkins defence of the Portland Pairs.
