Portland Cup @North Manchester GC
North Manchester Golf Club is a visiting golfers’ delight, noted for its undulating nature, with accommodating greens and wide fairways offering golfers a good walk and a challenge at every turn.
It is easily accessible, only 1 mile from junction 19 of the M60; is on a main road, the A576, not hidden away down side roads; has ample secure free parking; is a good length, 6491 yards par 71 for men and 5597 yards par 73 for ladies.

Blackley Golf Club has a well deserved reputation as being a visitor friendly club and we are proud to extend a warm welcome to all. Many of our visitors have been playing here for several years and we receive a considerable amount of repeat bookings.Our main competition day is Sunday so we are unique in the area of wecloming visitors to come and play on Saturdays. In addition to enjoying your game of golf there are opportunities to relax in our spacious bar areas, partake of a delicious meal and watch Sky Sports TV.

Jeff Hindle Memorial Cup @ Houldsworth GC
Houldsworth Golf Club, Home of the Island Hole Challenge, would like to extend a warm welcome to all visitors!We are located some two miles from the centre of Stockport and 5 miles from Manchester City centre. The 18 hole course is flat parkland with interesting challenging holes to suit all level of golfers. Houldsworth is a test of golf not fitness!
The club was formed in 1910 and the course was redesigned by Dave Thomas in 1993 adhering to his ethos,
The fundamental philosophy of our course designs is to produce a test of golf that will challenge players of all abilities, enhance the enjoyment of their golf experience and to increase their level of interest in the game.
Houldsworth certainly does that and includes a number of challenging water hazards, with our very own “Amen Corner” which features the 13th signature hole, a 535 yard par 5, called ‘Island’, as the green is surrounded by water with a safe layup to the right. (A real risk reward hole). Then the 14th a 162 yard par 3 simply called ‘Lake’ as you have to carry the water to a narrow green. The members would tell you that 11, 12, 13 & 14 are the ones that can ruin your card.

Despite our enviable countryside setting, we’re just a few miles from Stockport on one side and Macclesfield on the other, our course is designed to test your golf – both mentally and physically – but not to frustrate – our aim is for you to enjoy your time here, win, lose, or disappear to the bar. After all, a day to remember comes in many forms!
